Hotel Veneziano

"The long-abandoned Hotel Veneziano has come alive and trapped you inside its empty halls. Puzzle your way through three dimensions and find a way to escape with the hotel’s powerful treasure."

 

This artifact of great power unlocks new points of view, and you must use all three: 3D first-person, 2D third-person, and second-person text adventure, to solve dimensionally diverse puzzles as you learn about the history of this mysterious building.

I worked as a narrative designer and writer for the project, contributing much of the contents of the text adventure and world building documents that can be found in the environment. Many of the puzzles, including the first room, involve using the text adventure mode to inspect and collect objects. The text adventure also gives the player a general description of the room that may reveal information useful for exploration.
